Tools
One of the hardest things about getting started in the music business is knowing where to begin.
Chances are, you can have all the tools you need to hit it big with just a few clicks of your mouse and a wi-fi connection at Starbucks. But which sites? Which sites should you visit first? Which do you have to monitor every day, and which can you “set and forget?”
But you must watch out for the sharks. Many of us have jumped right in the deep end and now bear a few scars from making mistakes along the way. There are hundreds of new websites and “artist promotion” services starting up every week, and you can easily fall into the trap of spending your limited time and money on scams or worthless services which take your money and give you nothing in return.
Our goal at SongwriterToolbox is to be your filter. We’ll tell you about the tools and websites which can legitimately help you take your music to the next level, and we’ll warn you about the sharks that are out to get you.
Bottom line is, before you spend a dime on the latest, greatest site out there, check here first to see if one of our watchdogs has reviewed it first.
