  • Site Launch!

    By Nick Daugherty | July 25, 2007

Welcome to SongwriterToolbox.com, a brand new one-stop-shop for aspiring singer/songwriters to take their music to the next level!

Many big-time label execs say there’s no “artist development” anymore. That it’s just too risky…

At SongwriterToolbox.com, we believe just the opposite. In fact, our sole reason for existence is to help develop you, the singer/songwriter, into a more marketable act.

We will be posting all kinds of great one-of-a-kind “how to” articles and tips from several different music industry “gurus” who love to support independent writer/artists.

Topics will range from lyric writing to CD marketing to getting better gigs.

Want to help? Just drop us a line with your ideas for the site. Who knows, we may even hire you to write a few articles of your own!

Please give us a few weeks to get the site up and running!

Nick, I think what you’re doing is great, but shouldn’t government just subsidize aspiring artists? I think you should lobby for the establishment of a committee that allocates an annual budget to talented artists who espouse the People’s cause.
